Same-Day Flower Delivery in Edmonton: How It Works

Forgot a birthday? Big news at work? Someone you love just needs a pick-me-up? Same-day flower delivery is made for exactly those moments. Here’s how it works at Flowers YEG, so you can order with confidence and still have flowers at the door today.

The short version

Order before 5:00 PM, any day of the week, and we’ll deliver your flowers the very same day in Edmonton. That’s it. No hidden rules, no “weekdays only” fine print.

If you’d rather collect the bouquet yourself, choose pickup at checkout and pick a time that works for you.

Step by step: ordering same-day flowers

Choose a bouquet. Browse the full shop or jump straight to a category like Rose Bouquets or Under $100.
Add a note if you like. Every product page has a “note for the florist” box for colour preferences or special requests.
Pick delivery or pickup. At checkout, choose today’s date. You’ll only see times that are still available, so there’s no guessing.
Add the recipient’s details. Name, phone number and address. The phone number matters: it lets our driver reach them if the buzzer doesn’t work or nobody answers.
Write your card message. It’s free and hand-written. You can even send it anonymously.
Pay securely online. Check out with your card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay or PayPal.

Have a preferred delivery time?

Choose it at checkout. We usually deliver within the time frame you request, though it depends on how busy we are that day. Most customers are happy with delivery any time during the day. If you really need a specific time, call or text us at (780) 271-4997 and we’ll always try our best to make it work.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is a flat $15 anywhere in Edmonton, with a $60 minimum order. Prefer a smaller order? Pickup is free with no minimum.

Tips for a smooth same-day delivery

Double-check the address. Apartment number, buzzer code, company name or hospital unit all go in the “unit / buzzer” field.
Add delivery instructions. “Leave with the concierge” or “call on arrival” saves time and keeps flowers out of the cold.
Order early on busy days. Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and the days around them get busy. Ordering in the morning gives you the most choice. Prices are also higher around these holidays because wholesale flower costs go up.

Delivery or pickup?

Delivery is the easy surprise. Pickup is great when you’re heading to dinner, a party or the hospital yourself and want to hand the flowers over in person. Either way, your bouquet is wrapped fresh and finished with a satin ribbon.
